Colour INKspiration Challenge #169
Today I’m sharing a card I created for the Colour INKspiration Challenge #169 and I thought these colours would suit an ombre effect - blending one colour shade to the next.
The colours for this challenge are Night of Navy, Misty Moonlight, Blueberry
Bushel with Basic Beige.
As always, I choose one product to begin with and for this card I wanted to use the Metallic Enamel Effects. After experimenting for a while, I decided to make flower centres using the Gold enamel. To make these, I placed little droplets on a plastic sheet, waited for them to dry and adhered them to the flowers.
My next choice was to select the flowers and chose the Country Flowers Bundle.
The flowers were coloured by using a blending brush and the inkpads on a panel of Basic White then die-cut, and positioned on the rectangle.
All that was left was the Basic Beige embossed panel on the card base, a mounted sentiment over some twisted gold Simply Elegant Trim.
