Bubble Bath Romance Cards
Back to basics with some classic retired products…and some new colours….
Sitting on my shelf, getting all dusty and neglected, I thought it was time to revisit some of my old, and very favourite, stamp sets and dies.
Today’s cards are a collection of soft and subtle “romance” cards using Very Versailles, Ranunculus Romance and Stippled Roses. These are some of my favourite stamps sets that I will never part with, and I’m pleased to give them new life by combining these with new colours.
There is a lot of background stamping using Crumb Cake and Basic Beige, and all the flowers are coloured with Stampin’ Write Markers using a very cool colouring technique.
The Stampin’ Write Markers and water-based, just like the ink from your stamp pad. This allows the colour to be added directly to the stamp, then you stamp onto your cardstock.
Note: Make sure you don’t use the Stampin’ Blends - these are alcohol markers and will stain your stamps permanently.
